This section will feature a short write up of some local shows by local artists (Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey) that I personally want to highlight. Some of these highlighted artist will have larger articles posted on this site as well; some may already have an article, some may be coming at a later date.
As mentioned in the About Me section, my availability right now for getting to shows is very limited, but if availability was not a factor, these are shows I would be at.
And you can question why put them here instead or just sharing on social media? Well I will still share on social media, and yes as we enter 2023 maybe the most eyes I have are on social media. But what if there is a day where a social post isn't seen and you find this page due to another article you came to the site for? What if it helps just one artist out there? Then it would be worth it.
So again, as of January 2023 I won't be at most or all of the highlighted shows here. Maybe one day this blog site will provide the correct resources and time to make it out to shows more frequently, however those stars have not yet aligned. For now enjoy getting to know some local artist as well as a taste for the music I would enjoy.

Tim McMurtrie {of the original M.O.D. (Method of Destruction), lineup featured on the album ‘U.S.A. for M.O.D.’} is bringing his current thrash punk band Angry Corpses to Mount Holly, NJ’s Union Firehouse on March 23. Supporting the night are local South Jersey bands STFU, Ingdorf, and Acrolein. The show is being presented by Vertigo Entertainment and is 21+. Tickets are available online here.

Laura Cheadle has been a constant in South Jersey music industry since her first album was independently released in the mid-2000s. She had her first experience performing for a live audience around the age of 4.

Without Jimmies is a punk band from Southern New Jersey with influences from multiple genres of music. Their self described sound is a blend of NOFX, Bad Religion and Blink 182.
